OXFORD's sporting heritage and hidden treasures went on display during a weekend of events that attracted over 60,000 visits.

Oxford Open Doors featured nearly 200 activities and interesting buildings welcoming in members of the public, all thanks to more than 100 volunteer guides.

Thank you for a splendid day! A group of five of us spent nearly 5 hours visiting ten different colleges yesterday and we really, really enjoyed ourselves.

A wonderful event, clearly greatly enjoyed by many - the talk on the glass at Harris Manchester chapel was brilliant; the garden at Holywell a revelation; the chapel at Exeter, previously unknown to me, spectacular. So many of Oxford's gems benefit from material public support in one form or another and it's appropriate that they offer access from time to time. Nevertheless, we are grateful that so many do. Thank you 'Open Doors'!

Thank you so much to all concerned, especially the gentleman who gave us a 'off-tour' talk on the St Frideswide Window in Christ Church Cathedral. We will be going back every year!!!

Many congratulations on making so many venues available. The doors were indeed open. Each year has been an improvement on the last.

The first time I have found history interesting.

Real privilege to have knowledgeable people giving up their time to talk to us.

We had an overwhelming response, it really was incredible!! The hall was completely packed out for the first display and we had an average of about 40 children in each workshop!

I personally think this event is highly imaginative and worthwhile, and hope it continues.

Hurray for @OxPresTrust - had a lovely trip up the canal this morning and a good view of the old railway swing bridge :)

A wonderful moment: Baggy Trousers done by Chalgrove brass band in All Souls' College, Oxford (thanks @OxPresTrust!)
