Welcome to Oxford Open Doors 2009 – a chance to discover and enjoy some of our city’s most interesting buildings and spaces, little known corners and unusual places. With over 75 venues taking part this year – many for the first time – there is something to interest and inspire everyone and all free of charge.

With Town & Gown taking part in this fun weekend there is something to interest everyone. Colleges, Churches, Civic buildings, local businesses and groups will be ready to invite you to step inside and discover what goes on behind their doors and gates - (towers to climb, gardens to visit, vintage bus rides, cars and boats, guided walks and talks, and hands-on activities free of charge for all the family.

Lots of new places taking part this year – including a mini-festival celebrating Oxford’s canal.
