Discover hidden gems and curious corners of the city with something to interest and inspire everyone and all free of charge.
Visit some of Oxford’s oldest and newest buildings, climb church towers or go down dark tunnels, let your curiosity take you behind-the-scenes in all kinds of places. Explore your own neighbourhood, or great scientific discoveries. Follow a guided walk and hear secret stories, hop on a vintage bus, or take a boat trip. With lots of hands-on activities for all the family and free of charge there is sure to be something to interest you in this fun weekend.

Access: All access and activities listed here are completely free of charge. Some venues are offering refreshments for which there may be a charge. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Booking: Some events must be pre-booked owing to their limited capacity. Telephone and on line booking lines will open on 23rd August - 12 noon on 10th September. No bookings can be taken before or after these dates. We cannot accept bookings for large organised groups.
Transport: Most of the venues are easily accessible by public transport.
Members of the public visit the venues taking part in Oxford Open Doors 2010 on these dates at their own risk. Whilst details are listed in good faith, please be aware that there could be changes beyond the organiser's control.
