Hidden Heritage Graffiti Trail

FULLY BOOKED - Hidden Heritage Graffiti Walk

Nina Holguin is a recent Art History MSt graduate from Worcester College, where she specialised in Renaissance art history. During her masters, she researched historical graffiti and has since founded the Oxford Heritage Graffiti Survey.

During this walk get off the beaten track and discover another side of Oxford! Ever since there have been walls, there has been graffiti. Graffiti nowadays is often seen to be bad or even illegal, but before the 19th century, it was a very common way for ordinary people to express themselves. Graffiti also has a long history within political activism as a way for people to spread messages quickly and effectively.
